Physical, Personal and Social
Salesian education, as outlined by Saint John Bosco, seeks to develop the whole person with an emphasis on the development of thoughtful, respectful and responsible Christian young men.
St Joseph’s provides a broad range of activities and experiences for the boys which seek to develop overall health, well being and most importantly, Christian attitudes and values. Through physical activity, personal experience and social interaction, boys learn what it means to be a valued member of a community. This cannot be achieved through a single subject or program and it is considered the task of all teachers and faculty areas to promulgate an environment that facilitates ‘whole person’ learning.
At St Josephs we are fortunate to have passionate and committed staff who always focus on what is best for the well being and development of the boys. A wide range of programs and events are offered that aim to address the many and varied issues that face our young men in a modern and ever changing society.
